Before the Northwoods Gondola, there was Old Red — the boxy red cabins that hauled generations of skiers up Gore Mountain in North Creek, NY. They were retired in 1999, but they never really left: you'll still spot them parked in yards, backyards, and front porches all over the Adirondacks. This hat is our tribute to the most recognizable image in town.

The design

A clean, embroidered Old Red gondola cabin stitched directly into the front panel — no vinyl, no screen print, no heat transfer. Every thread is laid down on our machines in-house. It's a quiet nod that skiers, locals, and second-home owners in North Creek and the Gore Mountain region recognize instantly.
