We're a bespoke embroidery and printing studio based in Weehawken, NJ — just minutes from NYC. Whether it's a logo, a favorite quote, or a piece of wearable art, we create one-of-a-kind designs with craftsmanship and care.

Our Story

As a full-time management consultant, I had long been nagged by the desire to create something physical for the world. What started as a creative side project in my garage to embroider shirts for my daughter's "brand" has evolved into a design studio that now creates our own custom designs and all types of unique products.

Driven by a keen eye for design, I envisioned stitching custom pieces for friends and family. Their encouragement and admiration became the foundation for what is now known as The Custom Stitch Society.

There is a rich history of embroidery in north New Jersey. I am excited to be part of the extension of that history by creating unique custom products where embroidery happened at scale, over 100 years ago.

The Craft

We don’t make basics— we make custom creations.

Designs come from places we know: ski runs we've actually skied, towns we've lived in, sports we've loved. Custom monograms and logos are stitched the way they should be — clean, tight, unmistakable.

We're located in Weehawken, NJ — just across the river from Manhattan, on a quiet block in a neighborhood we've adopted as home. Pickup by appointment is welcome.
